Senior Software Engineer ALIP

Salary: $114,080 - 218,030 per year Requirements:

• We need 6 years of software development experience, with depth in a specific discipline or technology, including highly configurable, business-rule-driven systems.
• We need 4 years of experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews and coordinating delivery across vendor and internal teams.
• We need practical familiarity with one or more of Java, JavaScript, SQL, Go, and Python, with hands-on use of at least one language for configuration, data, or integration work such as Java, SQL, Python, or XML/XPath.
• We need experience researching technical issues and resolving production problems across applications, configuration, and integrations, including tracing behavior from the UI and business rules through data and messaging layers.
• We need the ability to explain technical challenges and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• We need strong knowledge of secure coding practices, secure system fundamentals, and cloud technologies including AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, containers, and GitLab CI/CD.
• We need hands-on experience delivering Business/Product Configuration on the Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform, including business rules, workflows, page groups, lookup tables, TCDs, and automated underwriting (HLQ), with production deployment through CI/CD promotion pipelines.
• We need experience integrating the platform with new business, underwriting, and requirement-ordering partners, as well as Data & Analytics and staging pipelines.
• We need experience in life, annuity, or health insurance policy administration, along with command of the platform stack including AWS EKS, PostgreSQL/Aurora, ActiveMQ/AmazonMQ, Redis, and Control-M.
• We need the technical leadership to act as liaison between our organization and a platform vendor, lead reviews, and mentor engineers.

• We design, develop, code, and test complex tactical and strategic technical solutions across multiple technologies, including emerging tools, to integrate existing systems and applications.
• We lead code and design reviews and communicate progress updates to stakeholders to support smooth operations and accurate planning.
• We develop complex algorithms to address business needs.
• We investigate and resolve complex application and system issues, including production incidents, by directing end-to-end troubleshooting.
• We mentor engineers, coach teammates on design, development, and system maintenance, and review their code.
• We help shape the architecture and quality standards for our domain and measure solutions across the full environment.
• We identify performance issues, including technical debt, and optimize our solution.
• We ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
