RN - Ambulatory

Registered NurseThe registered nurse will work in the outpatient preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit. Start times vary depending on the area assigned for the day. Shifts may begin as early as 06:00 with staggered start times until 08:30. Nurses scheduled for the post-anesthesia care unit are expected to complete their shifts. This position has no shift relief. The candidate must be willing to work primarily from 08:30 to 17:00, with occasional variations. No weekend or holiday shifts are required. Daily patient census averages around 10 in the unit. The nurse will provide care for various outpatient surgeries, including but not limited to general, orthopedic, and urology cases. Interdisciplinary support is available, and interpretation services are included for patient care. The facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. The registered nurse should be familiar with general ambulation procedures, medication administration, and patient assessment protocols.
