Job Location: Rowland - City of Industry, CA 91748 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Bachelor Degree Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 Salary The Talent Acquisition Specialist, University Progams will lead the design, development, and execution of Sirio Americas University recruiting strategy for our contract manufacturing operations. This role will build a campus recruiting program from the ground up, creating a sustainable pipeline of future talent across engineering, manufacturing, quality, R&D, supply chain, operations, and business functions. The successful candidate will identify and establish strategic partnerships with universities, technical schools, and student organizations; build relationships with career services teams and faculty leaders; and create a structured approach to internships, co-ops, and new graduate hiring. This individual will serve as the primary ambassador for the company within the university ecosystem while supporting broader recruiting initiatives as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES University Recruitment Program Development Design and implement a comprehensive university recruiting strategy aligned with workforce planning and future talent needs. Build the organization's campus recruiting program from the ground up, including annual recruiting calendars, target schools, events, and hiring goals. Develop a multi-year strategy to create a sustainable pipeline of early-career talent for manufacturing and corporate functions. Establish key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to measure program effectiveness, hiring outcomes, diversity representation, conversion rates, and return on investment. Create standardized processes for internship, co-op, and new graduate recruitment and onboarding. University Partnership Management Research, evaluate, and identify target universities, colleges, technical institutions, and trade schools that align with the organization's talent requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with university career centers, academic departments, faculty members, student organizations, and alumni groups. Establish preferred-campus partnerships and negotiate participation in career fairs, employer branding events, sponsorships, and student engagement activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for all university recruiting activities and partnerships. Campus Recruitment & Employer Branding Represent Sirio at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences. Partner with Marketing, HR, and business leaders to create recruiting materials, social media content, and campus engagement campaigns. Coordinate site visits, manufacturing facility tours, plant open houses, and student networking events. Internship, Co-op, and Graduate Programs Develop and manage internship and co-op programs that create strong conversion opportunities for full-time hiring. Partner with business leaders to identify meaningful project-based assignments for interns and students. Design structured intern and graduate experiences, including orientation, mentorship, performance feedback, and networking opportunities. Full-Cycle Recruiting Partner with hiring managers to recruit early-career talent across engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, automation, finance, and other functions. Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationship management. Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies to maintain candidate engagement and reporting accuracy. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Stakeholder Partnership Collaborate closely with leadership to understand future workforce needs. Educate hiring managers on campus recruiting best practices and workforce planning strategies. Provide regular updates and insights regarding hiring trends, campus recruitment effectiveness, and talent pipeline health. Support workforce planning initiatives related to succession planning and future skills requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent written and oral communications skills & techniques. Effective planning & organizing skills; ability to handle multiple task/duties. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor, conduct, and working relationship with peers, management, employees, and other individuals that interact with this position. SELECTION GUIDELINES Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field. 3+ years of talent acquisition, campus recruiting, university relations, or early-career recruiting experience. Experience developing and managing university recruiting programs, internship programs, or early-career talent initiatives. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to travel to universities and recruiting events as needed. Strong presentation, communication, and networking skills. Preferred Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and supply chain talent markets. Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment marketing tools. Experience designing internship, co-op, or graduate development programs. Familiarity with workforce planning and talent analytics.
