Position: Parking Cashier
Location: Denver International Airport
Shift: Shifts will vary
Pay rate: $20.60/hr

 
The Airport Cashier is responsible for operating a designated parking location by accurately processing cash and electronic transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. In addition to traditional cashier duties, this position provides roaming customer assistance throughout the parking facility by operating a golf cart and responding to customer needs as directed by Airport Administration or management. 

This role ensures proper ticket handling, secure cash management, and a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. The Airport Cashier serves as an ambassador for the parking operation by proactively assisting customers, providing directions, supporting airport travelers, and promoting a positive parking experience. 

This is a cash-handling position; the ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions 
• Always maintain organized cash drawers and tickets 
• Prepare cash control and summary sheets neatly and accurately 
• Report all cash overages and shortages promptly 
• Ensure adequate change is available throughout the shift 
• Complete shift and daily reconciliations of receipts, cash, and charges 
• Perform revenue drops following location-specific procedures 
• Secure all funds and control documents in deposit bags prior to deposit 
• Greet and depart guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner 
• Provide exceptional customer service by being pleasant, helpful, and solution-oriented 
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, escalating when necessary 
• Answer guest questions and provide clear information regarding parking procedures 
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with guests, clients, and teammates 
• Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets 
• Match visitor ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located 
• Assist guests entering or exiting the property 
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, when required 
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe cashier booth and surrounding work area 
• Clean and organize the interior of the booth and booth windows 
• Ensure signage and equipment are clean and free of vandalism or graffiti 
• Ensure supplies are stocked, properly stacked, and organized 
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment at all times 
• Lock windows and doors and secure cash if leaving the booth for any reason 
• Report all accidents, incidents, suspicious activity, or safety concerns immediately 
• Respond to customer service requests as directed by Airport Administration or management. 
• Operate a golf cart throughout the parking facility to provide customer assistance and support. 
• Proactively patrol parking areas to identify and assist guests who may require assistance. 
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards 
• Follow Reimagined Parking dress code and grooming standards 
• Ensure punctuality and accurate timecard punches at the start and end of each shift 

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills 
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
• Basic math and cash-handling skills 
• Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment 
• Previous cash-handling experience is an asset 
• Previous customer service experience preferred 
• Comfortable interacting with airport travelers and guests from diverse backgrounds. 
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart and navigate a large parking facility. 

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. 
• Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
• Frequent use of hands for handling cash, tickets, and operating equipment 
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform light cleaning duties 
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to approximately 25 pounds (e.g., supplies or trash bags) 
• Visual acuity sufficient to read tickets, screens, and signage 
• Ability to hear and communicate effectively with guests and team members 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

• Work is primarily performed in a cashier booth and/or outdoor parking environment 
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold 
• May work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs 
• Potential exposure to vehicle exhaust, traffic noise, and parking equipment 
• Fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring professionalism at all times
