The Opportunity

RoofLynx LLC is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to oversee sales expansion, client acquisition, and account management across Indiana, Tennessee, and Eastern Ohio.

This is a high-earning, commission-based B2B sales position designed for a goal-oriented producer who thrives on closing high-margin commercial contracts across regional markets. You will identify, qualify, and close commercial roofing opportunities across both private commercial sectors and public bid markets. By building long-term relationships with building owners, property management firms, facility engineers, and general contractors, you will position high-performance commercial roofing solutions—ranging from preventative maintenance programs and emergency repairs to full tear-offs and re-roofs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospecting and Market Expansion: Identify and qualify new commercial business opportunities through direct outreach, commercial property networking, industry associations, and local market intelligence across assigned territories.
• Account Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and general contractors across Indiana, Tennessee, and Eastern Ohio.
• Consultative Solution Sales: Evaluate commercial roof assets, conduct site walk-throughs, identify building envelope needs, and position custom roofing solutions (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Coatings, and Maintenance Contracts).
• Bid and Proposal Execution: Partner with estimating and sales leadership to construct competitive proposals, assemble public bid compliance documentation, and present formal bids to decision-makers.
• Pipeline and CRM Administration: Track all prospective pipeline stages, client touchpoints, proposals, and target metrics within company CRM software.
• Performance Forecasting: Deliver accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts, market intelligence, and pipeline updates to executive leadership while hitting target revenue goals.
• Operations Collaboration: Participate in project turnover meetings with operations, project managers, and field crews to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Required
• Industry Tenure: 3 or more years of proven sales, business development, or account management experience within commercial roofing or commercial exterior construction.
• Technical Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, repair methodologies, preventive maintenance programs, and re-roofing workflows.
• B2B Relationship Track Record: Demonstrated success in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with commercial property managers, building owners, and facility engineers.
• Commission-Driven Mindset: Self-starter with a strong drive to manage a full sales pipeline, close deals, and exceed performance targets.
• Public and Private Bid Experience: Familiarity with public bid processes, RFP responses, bid bonds, and contract compliance requirements.
• Mobility Credentials: Valid driver license with the ability to travel regionally across assigned territories (Indiana, Tennessee, or Eastern Ohio) for site inspections, client meetings, and industry events.
• Preferred
• CRM Proficiency: Direct experience using CRM software and commercial roofing estimation tools.
• Regional Market Network: An active network of commercial real estate, property management, or general contracting contacts throughout Indiana, Tennessee, or Ohio.
