Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director at The Collaborative School

The Collaborative School is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and versatile Executive Assistant to join our team. Located on the beautiful Pineland Campus, our school specializes in providing high-quality treatment and education for students in grades K–12 with mental health diagnoses. The Executive Assistant provides high-level support to school leadership. The ideal candidate is a positive, independent problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment. This individual should have experience with Google Workspace, Excel, and QuickBooks, along with a willingness to learn and master additional technology systems as needed. Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential for success in this role. We are seeking a professional who understands the importance of confidentiality, can effectively prioritize tasks, and approaches responsibilities with flexibility and initiative. Prior experience in special education or school administration is preferred. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid Maine Department of Education fingerprinting certificate (CHRC) and must pass a DHHS background check. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance; a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan; and generous paid time off.
