Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate required
• Experience or training in cognitive and developmental assessments preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Familiarity with behavioral support strategies and special education processes

Responsibilities:

• Administer assessments to determine student needs in areas such as attention, adaptive skills, behavioral support, and autism
• Participate in initial and re-evaluation processes with evaluation team members
• Conduct cognitive/developmental testing for student assessments
• Collaborate with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams regarding special education referrals
• Take part in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Support Plan meetings
• Lead initial and some re-evaluation meetings and conduct Manifestation Determination Reviews
