Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs, preferences, and goals, which will guide the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to clients through individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive care for your clients.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support during acute mental health emergencies, and helping clients manage distressing situations effectively.

• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives, including workshops and educational programs, to raise awareness about mental health and promote accessible resources for the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on serving a diverse array of clients, including at-risk youth, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and adults coping with anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. You will utilize a trauma-informed approach to effectively address the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary for their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients.

• Exhibit cultural competence, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability when working with clients from different backgrounds.

• Show organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate, timely documentation and management of client files.
