Position: Prototype Rework Assembler
Location: Anaheim, CA
Pay rate: $24.00
Hours: 6am to 2:30pm

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Prototype Rework Assembler to support our electronic manufacturing and engineering teams. This position is responsible for performing highly precise rework, modification, and assembly of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), including both SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and Thru-Hole components.

Key Responsibilities

Perform precision rework, modification, and assembly of SMT and Thru-Hole components on prototype and production PCBAs.
Remove, replace, add, and modify electronic components while maintaining board integrity and workmanship standards.
Perform component-level rework using a variety of specialized soldering and rework equipment.
Work with a wide range of SMT component packages, including fine-pitch and other complex IC packages.
Inspect completed work for proper solder joints, component placement, orientation, and overall workmanship.
Identify and correct soldering defects, component placement issues, bridges, opens, and other PCB assembly defects.
Follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, schematics, BOMs, ECOs, and other technical documentation when performing board modifications.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience performing SMT and Thru-Hole PCB rework.
Strong soldering and desoldering skills with demonstrated experience working at the component level.
Proficient in using various electronic rework equipment and tools to remove, replace, and install SMT and Thru-Hole components.
IPC certification or formal IPC training is a plus.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
