What you’ll need to be successful:

• Active LMSW licensure (opportunities available for supervision hours to pursue an LCSW)
• Experience working with children in an educational or youth-focused setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, staff, and families
• Capacity to create and deliver engaging small-group or grade-level lessons tied to students’ needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical social work standards

Key responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support student growth and address social-emotional challenges
• Utilize data to identify needs and design proactive interventions, collaborating with teachers and staff
• Conduct crisis interventions as required, offering immediate support with care and professionalism
• Deliver lessons and preventive supports to small groups or entire grade levels based on emerging concerns
• Serve as a visible advocate for student well-being throughout the school day

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule (35 hours per week), with your term running from ASAP through May 28th, 2027.
