Business Development Representative (BDR)

You don't pay us. We pay you. SV Academy is hiring Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). This is a full-time role that offers free sales training, a 90 day paid residency at a partner company, and a clear path to a long-term sales role at one of over 400 partner companies. Compensation Days 1-10 – Free sales training (no tuition). Days 11-100 – Paid residency: $2500 month base + 100% of commissions. Day 100 and onward – Transfer to partner’s payroll; total annual compensation $90k-100k (base + commission). Residency Details Days 1-10 – Live, instructor-led training on Zoom, Monday to Thursday, 6-9 pm ET or PT – learn fundamentals of B2B sales. Days 11-100 – Full-time at partner company as W-2 employee of SV Academy; real sales work—outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, scheduling discovery meetings for Account Executives; daily coaching from SV Academy mentor and partner sales leadership. Day 100 – Transfer directly onto partner payroll with full benefits that start that day. Comfortable on the phone, including cold calls. Coachable – takes feedback and acts on it. Resilient – can keep going in the face of rejection. Strong written and spoken communication skills. Prior experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, fundraising, fitness instruction, teaching, or any role involving daily conversations and meeting goals is a solid foundation for success. Requirements Full-time availability during the 100 day program. Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is posted. Strong written and verbal English communication. Availability for evening training sessions during the first 2 weeks. Located in or able to reliably commute to the partner site (hybrid residency). Responsibilities Perform outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn. Qualify inbound leads. Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives.
