About This Role
Join a team of dedicated professionals at Golden Path Academy, where excellence is the standard. Our state-of-the-art facility is the ideal setting for a full-time Lead School Age teacher. We seek a team player who is passionate about children and education, with strong communication skills and a love for learning. Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for their age group, in accordance with the Golden Path curriculum, procedures, and initiatives.
What You'll DoExperience the best of early childhood education at Golden Path Academy. As a Lead Teacher, you will provide exceptional care and supervision to children, implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities. You will foster supportive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, setting a positive example for your students.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans
- Creating a safe and organized classroom environment
- Tracking individual child development and submitting bi-annual progress reports
- Nurturing positive relationships with parents through regular communication
- Utilizing a school-provided application to stay connected with parents daily
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent
- And must meet *one* of the following:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
- Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
- Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
- Have 48 semester hours of college credit, with 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience

After 90 day probation period.
