Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of OpenText Exstream Cloud Native communication solutions.
• Design and build complex, highly personalized templates using Communications Designer, including reusable components, conditional content, dynamic sections, complex tables, business rules, functions, procedures, and multi-language or multi-brand requirements.
• Develop and govern JSON and XML data mappings, schemas, transformations, validations, and source-to-target specifications for batch and real-time communication use cases.
• Design and implement orchestration flows for document generation, routing, assembly, delivery, exception handling, and integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Define solution patterns for batch, on-demand, and event-driven communications across print and digital channels, including PDF, email, HTML, and other required output formats.
• Provide technical architecture inputs, design specifications, interface contracts, implementation documentation, and production-readiness guidance.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis for complex implementation issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data teams, QA, DevOps, security, operations, and client stakeholders across distributed delivery teams.
• Mentor Exstream developers, establish development standards and reusable design patterns, and support knowledge transfer and technical training.
• Support SIT, UAT, release planning, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and post-implementation reviews.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience with significant hands-on experience designing and building applications using OpenText Exstream.
• Demonstrated implementation experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native and Communications Designer.
• Advanced experience building medium-to-high-complexity communication templates, reusable assets, dynamic content, complex tables, graphs & charts, rules, functions, procedures, and multi-channel outputs.
• Strong hands-on experience with JSON and XML data structures, XSD/schema concepts, mapping, transformation, validation, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Exstream orchestration flows and integrating communication services with upstream and downstream applications.
• Working knowledge of AWS concepts and services relevant to cloud-native delivery, including IAM, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda, containers, logging, monitoring, and secure integration patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, Git-based source control, CI/CD concepts, environment management, and release automation.
• Strong understanding of document composition, personalization, high-volume generation, output validation, and operational support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written communication, client-facing, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering CCM solutions in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
• Experience integrating Exstream with policy, billing, claims, CRM, core banking, Guidewire, or enterprise API platforms.
• Exposure to migration from legacy CCM platforms such as Documaker, Documerge, CSF, xPression, Quadient Inspire, or similar products.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, Jira or Azure DevOps, non-functional testing, cloud security, and production support processes.
  AWS or OpenText certifications are advantageous.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 96366 - 150000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
