Job Description Security Officer Patrol Agent in Honolulu, HI As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as hotels & resorts, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to guests and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and a reliable, people‑first approach that reflects our values of agility, innovation, and integrity. Position type: Part Time Pay rate: $26.79 / Hour Job schedule: Day Time – Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM Pre‑Employment Requirement: Security experience – +1 year (C115) What You’ll Do Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or staff‑only areas. Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance‑related concerns, and report conditions that could impact guests, staff, or daily operations. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
