Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas to help support authorized entry, orderly operations, and compliance with location rules and procedures.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
