Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people‑first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable, innovative approaches to security‑related responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Fri 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, guest‑facing areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security‑related concerns in accordance with post instructions. Support hospitality operations by assisting with wayfinding, answering general questions, and documenting incidents and daily activities with professionalism and attention to detail. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
