Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients at varying stages of detoxification, who may be struggling with addictions as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. This diverse patient population requires a tailored and empathetic approach that addresses complex psychological and emotional challenges. Your ability to connect with clients and foster trust will be essential in guiding them toward sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution.

• Current and active LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a dynamic treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in clinical social work focused on substance use treatment and mental health, especially within a detox or rehabilitation setting.

• Familiarity with treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or motivational interviewing.

• Previous involvement with multidisciplinary teams and proven capability in case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
