CAD Manager / Civil Designer

Overview As a CAD Manager/Designer for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) in our Phoenix, AZ office you\'ll provide technical drafting support and assist in the preparation of plans for a wide range of local, county, and state transportation infrastructure projects. This includes reviewing engineering drawing packages in collaboration with project managers and engineers. You\'ll work on planning documents, preliminary designs, detailed designs, and permitting documents. The CAD Designer reports to the project manager. Location US-AZ-Phoenix Category Civil Type Full-Time Responsibilities Design and produce sets of plans; implementing and managing drafting and plan preparation standards Assist in maintaining drawing databases Qualifications Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer. Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil3D software a plus ADOT project experience is a plus Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Computer Aided Drafting a plus.
