Practice Info Employed general cardiology opportunity with The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus Well-established and growing Heart & Vascular Center Comprehensive cardiovascular team consisting of 8 cardiologists, 9 advanced practice providers, 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 cardiothoracic APPs, and dedicated nursing and support staff Inpatient and outpatient practice mix Clinical-focused position with no research or teaching requirements 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly Access to comprehensive cardiovascular services including nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, stress echocardiography, vascular sonography, cardiac rehabilitation, device clinic, coumadin clinic, and vein clinic Structural heart program featuring TAVR, Watchman, ASD/PFO closure, and planned mitral and TriClip expansion in 2026 Epic EMR with Ambience AI scribe technology to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden Established referral base from primary care providers, hospitalists, specialists, and regional outreach clinics Outreach opportunities across 10 regional locations Average clinic volume of approximately 2.5 patients per hour Weekly cardiac case conference with CME, bi-weekly vascular case conference with CME, annual cardiovascular symposium, and active participation in multiple national cardiovascular registries The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is a 378-bed acute care hospital operating as a joint venture between Ardent Health and The University of Kansas Health System Compensation Two-year salary guarantee wRVU production incentive Additional compensation for excess call coverage Potential total compensation exceeding $618,000 annually Benefits Recruitment loan assistance Relocation allowance CME stipend Medical debt assistance through Navigate Student Loans Paid malpractice coverage Comprehensive health benefits Retirement plan Marketing and practice growth support Mentorship available Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer Shift & Schedule Monday through Friday clinic and outreach schedule 1:6 call rotation (approximately 5 days per month) Qualifications Open to experienced cardiologists and new graduates J-1 waiver sponsorship, Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, and HHS programs available
