The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.

Position Details Modality: RN - Emergency Room Openings: 1 Shifts: Nights Shift Days: 1900-0730 Hours per Week: 36 Contract Length: 8 Week(s) Start Date: 09/28/2026 Details of Assignment: Small critical access hospital needing coverage for shortages. Minor cases involved, serious matters get shipped off to larger hospitals. Will likely be the only night shift RN on duty in the ER. Will have resources for help, if needed.
Client Interview Required: Yes Client Interview Details: Phone Screen
Avg Max Ratio/Caseload: 25 bed critical access hospital. The usual PT load is 10 per day.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
