This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing specialized care to critically ill newborns and infants. Unit Information Number of Beds: 51 Number of Staff: 120 Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 Type of Equipment: Advanced neonatal care equipment EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the NICU, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for effectiveness and any adverse effects. Utilize advanced technology to support the care of critically ill neonates. Educate parents and families regarding their infant's condition and care plans. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Qualifications Required Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience is preferred. Preferred Skills: Strong detail orientation and organizational skills. Work Environment The NICU environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and strong clinical skills.
