Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for operating heavy-duty forklifts to move products weighing several tons, interpreting work orders, and assisting in various areas of the plant as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate dual mast forklifts to pull and move products weighing a couple of tons.
• Read and interpret work orders and instructions accurately.
• Lift and move concrete bricks, slabs, and machine parts up to 50 lbs.
• Train in other areas of the plant when required.
• Work both outdoors and indoors using the forklift.

Work Environment

Our facility specializes in manufacturing bricks and pave stones for construction. The environment is not temperature-controlled and can be dusty due to the materials used. The production team consists of approximately 50 individuals working across four shifts. Join a nationwide company with over 80 manufacturing locations and 4,000 employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
