When not processing sea containers (75% of the time), this person will operate a Bendi Forklift to pick orders from the warehouse. The use of a RF scan gun and accurately counting is critical to this task. Attendance is also important in this role.Forklift Operator - 1st Shift Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.Experience operating a Bendi Forklift or other narrow-aisle forklift equipment preferred.Ability to safely unload and process sea containers.Proficient in the use of RF scan guns and warehouse management systems.Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, and track inventory.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong commitment to workplace safety and established operating procedures.Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate equipment for extended periods.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
