Life Sciences Solution Architect

Role Description

The Life Sciences Cloud Architect is a trusted technical and business expert within Kicksaw’s Delivery team, reporting to the Delivery Manager. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions that support commercial operations, field engagement, medical affairs, patient services, and stakeholder management.
• Guide clients through solution options, architecture decisions, and industry best practices while mentoring consultants and contributing to Kicksaw’s Life Sciences practice growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Salesforce platform implementation experience.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience leading enterprise CRM implementations.
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce Life Sciences, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, or related Salesforce industry solutions.
• Strong understanding of life sciences commercial operations, medical affairs, clinical research patient engagement, or field team workflows.
• Expertise in Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, automation, integrations, and platform governance.
• Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions and managing complex stakeholder requirements.
• Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to influence both business and technical audiences.
• Experience leading discovery workshops and translating requirements into solution architecture.
• Deep understanding of project lifecycle management (SCRUM etc.) and continuous delivery, continuous integration (CI/CD) processes.
• Ability to work closely with technical architects and engineering teams to solve complex application design problems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Advanced Administrator
• Agentforce Health and/or Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant
• Salesforce Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
• Salesforce AI Associate or AI Specialist (preferred)

Requirements

• 5+ year experience working in the Salesforce SI consultant industry in a customer delivery capacity.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate architecture discussions with executives, commercial leaders, IT teams, and Salesforce stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and effectively through client meetings, workshops, presentations, and written documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery Managers, Consultants, and client teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
