Required Skills
- Valid forklift operator certification with proven experience
- Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols and operational best practices
- Ability to maneuver materials carefully and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous experience in a recycling or waste management facility
- Familiarity with different forklift types and attachments
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of forklift equipment
- Experience with inventory tracking systems or basic computer use
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Other Requirements
- Availability to work mid shifts on-site at the recycling plant
- Commitment to adhere to all safety policies and use personal protective gear consistently
