Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: West Hollywood, CA

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. The MA assists providers with patient care, performs clinical procedures, manages patient flow, documents patient information, and helps ensure efficient daily clinic operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working within an outpatient environment utilizing EPIC EMR.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program required.

• Current BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required.

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

• Outpatient clinic experience required.

• EPIC EMR experience required.

• Strong patient care and communication skills.

• First-Time Travelers Not Accepted.

• Assist providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures.

• Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information.

• Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.

• Schedule appointments and support patient flow throughout the clinic.

• Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

• Maintain accurate patient records within EPIC EMR.

• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care instructions.

• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.

• Float to other clinic areas as needed.

• Provide excellent patient-centered care and customer service.
