The impact is better, more consistent outcomes for patients and a higher standard of care across the dermatology community.Role SummaryThe Specialty Care - Dermatology Health & Science Specialist is a field-based specialty sales role responsible for driving adoption of dermatology therapies through strategic, compliant engagement with healthcare providers. This role partners with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, office staff, and key opinion leaders to launch products, ensure access, and deliver differentiated clinical value across assigned accounts. Success in this role requires strong specialty selling skills, deep disease-state knowledge, comfort navigating reimbursement, and the ability to engage customers effectively across in-person and digital channels.Role ResponsibilitiesExecute territory and account strategies to drive demand and achieve sales objectives within a specialty dermatology marketBuild trusted relationships with dermatologists, APPs, and office stakeholders through high-impact in-person and virtual engagementsDeliver clear, compelling clinical and product messaging using approved promotional materials to influence prescribing behaviorNavigate formulary access, reimbursement pathways, and patient support resources to improve appropriate patient accessLeverage data, insights, and analytics to prioritize accounts, plan calls, and identify growth opportunitiesCollaborate compliantly with cross-functional partners (Field Medical, Reimbursement, Key Account Management) to address customer needsSupport product launches and provide field insights to inform brand strategy and executionBasic QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degreeOR an associate's degree with 8+ years of work experienceOR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience.Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following:Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device salesPharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketingAligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experienceDriver's Licensing Requirement: Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards.Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.Preferred Qualifications3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in dermatology, immunology, or inflammationStrong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursementExperience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accountsDemonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinkingStrong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom) and comfort in hybrid selling modelsWork Location & Travel RequirementsThis role is field based and requires the colleague to reside within a workable distance of all points of business within the assigned territory to effectively meet business needs.Determination of workable distance will be made based on business requirements and leadership discretion.Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territoryDepending on size of territory and business need, candidates may be required to stay overnight as necessaryOther DetailsTerritory includes: Mililani Town, Waimalu, Honolulu & HiloLast Day to Apply: October 13, 2026Training Requirement: This position requires attendance and participation in a mandatory virtual training program scheduled from November 16 through December 18, 2026. During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee which entitles you to overtime pay.
