The work schedule is 0700 to 1600.Pay Scale Range: $91,900 - $115,000 Shift: ALL Security Clearance: No ClearancePurpose and FunctionsThe Scheduling Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Scheduling Department by supervising scheduling personnel and coordinating the development, maintenance, and execution of integrated production schedules supporting ship repair, overhaul, modernization, and maintenance projects. This position ensures scheduling activities align with contractual requirements, production priorities, and company objectives while providing technical guidance, coaching, and operational support to Scheduling personnel.The Scheduling Supervisor partners closely with Project Management, Planning, Production, Business Development, Estimating, Engineering, Contracts, and other support departments to monitor project progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, optimize resource utilization, and support successful project execution.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledgeShip repair, overhaul, planning, project controls, production planning, or ship repair experienceMinimum of two (2) years supervisory or team leadership experience preferredExperience supporting multiple concurrent projects in shipbuilding, ship repair, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferredExperience using Primavera P6 scheduling softwareExperience supporting EVMS preferredCertifications/LicensesAbility to obtain and maintain required Common Access Card (CAC) and security clearancePreferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) or Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certifications and shows good judgement.ResponsibilitiesCore ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily activities of the Scheduling Department to ensure project schedules are accurate, current, and aligned with production prioritiesAssign, coordinate, review, and monitor the work of Scheduling personnel to support multiple ship repair, overhaul, modernization, and maintenance projectsProvide technical guidance, coaching, training, and performance feedback to Scheduling personnelSupport the Engineering & Scheduling Manager in planning departmental workloads, priorities, and resource allocationMonitor scheduling performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve scheduling accuracy, resource utilization, workflow efficiency, and overall departmental performance through continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with company scheduling procedures, contractual requirements, NAVSEA standards, and applicable policiesFoster collaboration between Scheduling and Production, Planning, Engineering, Estimating, Contracts, Project Management, and other support departmentsSupport Business Development with Scheduling DeliverablesKey DutiesDevelop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6Review schedule progress, critical path activities, milestones, and schedule variancesCoordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Production, Planning, Engineering, Estimating, and Contracts to maintain accurate project schedulesIdentify schedule risks, resource constraints, and potential impacts to project milestones, recommending corrective actions when appropriateSupport EVMS reporting and schedule performance analysisDevelop/Maintain/Review manpower loading, resource utilization, and production forecasts to support efficient project executionPrepare scheduling reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and project teamsAssist with Project Management Team (PMT) meetings by providing schedule status, analysis, and recommendationsResolve day-to-day scheduling conflicts and facilitate communication between departments to support production objectivesAssist with implementation of scheduling process improvements and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor scheduling software utilization and assist with testing, implementation, and ser support for scheduling tools and system enhancementsEnsure scheduling documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures and customer requirementsDevelops/Reviews Request for Pricing or bid deliverablesPerforms other duties as assignedMeasurable OutcomesMaintains accurate project schedules that reflect current production status and contractual milestonesSchedule updates are completed within established departmental timeframesSchedule risks and variances are identified and communicated to management in a timely mannerRequired EVMS and scheduling reports are completed accurately and submitted by established
