Warranty Support Quality Engineer (Grand Prairie Breaker Plant, 1st Shift) The Quality Engineer’s day-to-day activities include evaluating, repairing, and testing returns (RMAs) with a flexibility to travel on short notice for warranty type support at Siemens facilities or other customer sites. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of manufacturing or related experience. Understanding of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical / mechanical testing. Working knowledge of general electrical tools, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and schematics. Ability to travel 50%, could be international depending on site locations. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience with power distribution system equipment. UL489 and 1066. Good knowledge of Siemens 3WL, 3WA, and 3VA low voltage power circuit breaker operations. You’ll make an impact by Evaluating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage circuit breakers in a lab setting as well as onsite customer support. Performing testing per relevant standards, product checklists, and customer requirements. Identifying potential nonconformances and driving root‑cause corrective actions. Conducting client communication in a highly customer‑service‑oriented manner while supporting warranty efforts and performing remedial repairs of circuit breakers and associated components. Working onsite at the Mayfield facility with flexibility to travel on short notice. Representing Siemens in a customer‑facing role across brownfield to greenfield site conditions, ensuring products comply with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements. Working independently, ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws during travel. Collaborating with production teams to implement process improvements and risk‑reduction initiatives. Training production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Evaluating product data and information related to overall manufacturing and assembly processes. Conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods to ensure conformance to quality standards.
