U.S. citizenship is required. Overview Our Product Safety team helps civilian, military and government customers complete their most complex missions. As a Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers succeed today while anticipating their needs for tomorrow. Responsibilities Support program development through the application of reliability and maintainability techniques. Participate in all phases of the program life cycle, utilizing reliability and maintainability methodologies in accordance with military standards such as MIL‑HDBK‑217, MIL‑HDBK‑338B, MIL‑HDBK‑470, MIL‑STD‑1629A. Provide support to reliability and maintainability modeling and predictions analysis, testability analysis, maintainability and built‑in‑test demonstrations, environmental testing, FMEA/FMECA, and FRACAS. Provide input to the development of Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability & Maintainability analysis and predictions, Reliability Critical Items List, and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS). Serve as a Reliability & Maintainability representative to engineering and business leadership. Qualifications Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start. U.S. citizenship required. 2 years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle, applying reliability and maintainability techniques to systems requirements. 1 year of demonstrated experience supporting design and development teams to develop, assess, and verify Reliability & Maintainability related requirements for mission‑critical systems. 3 years of experience conducting/developing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability & Maintainability analysis and predictions, Reliability Critical Items List, FRACAS, Built‑in‑Test (BIT) design/verification analysis, and/or testability analysis. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of systems architectures and designs. Basic circuit analysis skills and ability to perform detailed analyses on complex systems. Understanding of military aircraft‑related missions, functional operation, performance specifications, and validation techniques. Experience planning and conducting Accelerated Stress Testing or related techniques such as HALT, RET, ESS, HASS. Experience using industry‑recognised tools such as Relyence, Reliasoft, Windchill, or eXpress. Familiarity with agile development and model‑based systems engineering (MBSE). Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
