What You'll Do Purchase direct and indirect materials to support manufacturing operations. Source new suppliers while building strong relationships with existing vendors. Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and favorable purchasing terms. Issue and manage purchase orders from start to finish. Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Resolve purchasing and supplier issues quickly to minimize production disruptions. Analyze purchasing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability. Support continuous improvement initiatives and procurement projects. Maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system. What We're Looking For5+ years of Buyer, Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing experience. Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience strongly preferred. Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to solve problems and make sound purchasing decisions.
