Business Analyst

Location: Alhambra, CA or New York City, New York (Hybrid) Tax Term (W2, C2C): W2/c2C Job Type: Contract Working Hours: Full-time Required Qualifications 5+ years of Sr BA experience in data-driven environment with data migration Data governance experience. Strong understanding of data structures, reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI), and databases (SQL Server, Databricks a plus). Experience working on data governance or master data management initiatives. Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex data issues into clear business requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in Healthcare / Lifesciences. Key Responsibilities 1. Data Infrastructure & Process Analysis: Analyze and document the landscape of multiple, disparate data sources from acquired entities. Collaborate with technical teams to define project scopes and process improvements that enhance data integration efficiency. Identify gaps in current QA processes and assist in developing approaches to ensure data completeness and accuracy. 2. Data Quality & Governance Support: Investigate and resolve issues related to inconsistent data definitions, overlapping records, and duplicative reporting across business units. Contribute to the development and adoption of a unified data governance framework. Work with stakeholders to align KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic across multiple business entities. 3. Reporting Migration & Optimization: Support the migration of 700+ SSRS reports from SQL Server to Databricks by gathering requirements and mapping them to the new Unified Data Model. Analyze existing reports to determine redundancy, relevance, and business criticality. Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for more flexible, self-service reporting solutions that reduce long-term maintenance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Compu-Vision Consulting Inc.
