DEPARTMENT OF MARINE RESOURCES – Bureau of Marine Science – Office Associate II Opening Date: October 5, 2026 Closing Date: End of the day October 21,2026 Position Number: 07200-2727 Position Type: Limited Period - Full Time Class Code: 6542 Grade: 13 (Administrative Services Unit) Salary: $18.53 - $26.68 Per Hour (This includes a 2.5% Salary Adjustment) The Department of Marine Resources, Bureau of Marine Science, is looking for a dependable, organized Office Associate II to keep our West Boothbay lab running. This position is part of an administrative team that supports a busy, passionate group of science and laboratory staff. The work of this position is critical to supporting the mission of the Bureau. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proven dependability, and a commitment to supporting team success through excellent communications and a collaborative mindset. This position’s ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment ensures that the administrative side runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Provide reliable administrative and clerical support for operations. Scheduling, correspondence, document preparation. Maintain organized records to support operational needs. Assist with procurement, inventory tracking, and supply management. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
