As a Security Officer Baggage Screening in Indianapolis IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Day Time

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers and team members by carrying out screening procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people packages and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and document screening-related activity incidents and/or irregularities in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter helping to deter unauthorized activity and reporting maintenance access control and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
