Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Bright Star Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and improving functional abilities in patients.
• Assessing patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including diagnostic tests for muscle, nerve, and joint functions.
• Overseeing and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants in executing non-manual therapeutic exercises and ensuring compliance with each patient's care plan.
• Administering therapeutic techniques such as massage, traction, and physical agents while instructing patients in their application.
• Evaluating home environments for rehabilitation needs and recommending modifications and assistive devices to enhance patient independence.
• Engaging with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to refine treatment plans and share insights on patient progress.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation including care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrating leadership by advising patients and their families on home care practices and self-management of therapy devices.

Qualifications
