Key Responsibilities

In this role as a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with physician recommendations, focusing on evidence-based methodologies.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to address patients' specific rehabilitation needs.
• Provide patient education and training, ensuring that patients and their caregivers understand their treatment plans and the importance of compliance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, contribute to case discussions, and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients, fostering trust and encouraging their active participation in the recovery process.
• Meet and maintain utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric cases. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation, scheduling, and electronic health records management.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Familiarity with contemporary treatment techniques and modalities, the ability to engage patients in their care, and experience with patient education will be considered significant assets. Experience working with varied patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric clients, is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
