Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219

Duration: 13-Week Contract (Potential Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Start time may vary slightly based on provider schedule)

 

Job Summary

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and providing exceptional customer service. This role supports daily clinic operations by ensuring accurate patient records, handling incoming calls, collecting co-pays, and maintaining efficient scheduling workflows.

 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of medical receptionist, patient access, or customer service experience.
• Experience with patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, medical insurance, and medical office workflows.
• Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to accurately collect co-pays, balance payments, and maintain patient confidentiality.

 

Additional Information:

• In-person interview required.
• Orientation will be held in Norwood, OH prior to assignment start.
