Outside Sales / Business Development Manager

Snelling is looking for an Outside Sales / Business Development Manager to grow our staffing business. You'll build new client relationships, find hiring opportunities, and deliver staffing solutions that keep our clients' workforces running.

If you're a motivated salesperson who can get in front of decision-makers, figure out what they really need, and turn a first meeting into a long-term partnership, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Find and go after new business for our staffing services.

• Connect with hiring managers, HR leaders, and business owners through outreach, networking, referrals, and meetings.
\n
• Learn each client's staffing needs, business priorities, and workforce challenges.
\n
• Put together staffing solutions that fit each client.
\n
• Negotiate rates and service agreements within company guidelines.
\n
• Work with our recruiters on job requirements, client expectations, and start dates.
\n
• Keep clients happy, win repeat business, and grow services within existing accounts.
\n
• Build and manage your sales pipeline, log activity in the CRM, and hit your sales and revenue goals.

• Keep up with market trends, hiring demand, and what the competition is doing.

What You Bring

\n
• A track record of success in business development or B2B sales, ideally in staffing.
\n
• A solid understanding of how staffing works.
\n
• The ability to open new accounts and build relationships with business decision-makers.
\n
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
\n
• The ability to work independently while staying in lockstep with your recruiting team.
\n
• Good organization and experience running a sales pipeline in a CRM.
\n
• Staffing industry experience and an established local network are a plus.
