As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Monitor in Seabrook, NJ , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. Job Details Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site‑specific procedures, managing access control points, and supporting security‑related protocols for a technology, media, or telecommunications location. Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, provide directions and information to guests, and complete required reports related to access control and other security‑related events. Minimum Requirements The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
