MRI Tech Location: Mountain View, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,164 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 7/6/2026 About the Position The MRI Technologist operates imaging equipment, primarily MRI, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Technologist must have a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Responsibilities Operate all relevant MRI imaging equipment and select appropriate technical factors. Capture high-quality diagnostic images, evaluating, reformatting, and verifying images for clarity and completeness before submission for interpretation. Prepare, position, and transfer patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns while providing radiation protection in accordance with safety standards. Assess patient conditions and initiate appropriate actions in response to changes. Evaluate the appropriate orders and document contrast, and patient responses before, during, and after imaging procedures. Ascertain MRI compatibility with all equipment in the MRI suite and any applicable patient‑specific metallic implants such as stents and heart valves. Maintain and monitor MRI equipment for unsafe conditions, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel. Submit requests for equipment and technology needs and follow through to resolution. Perform additional duties such as advanced or invasive procedures and IV insertions, if applicable, and manage pacemakers safely, as appropriate. Meet physical requirements, including the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly, prolonged standing and walking during each shift, and the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. State licensure may be required. Certification: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT. BLS certification. Effective patient and team communications.
