Human Resources Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Human Resources Administrator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource and admin department. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assists HR with day-to-day functions. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to new hires, staffing changes, and terminations. Assists with onboarding by preparing offers, collecting paperwork, and setting up training dates. Maintains employee state licensing requirements, including maintaining documentation, tracking deadlines and renewals, and ensuring compliance with Division of Cannabis Control regulations. Assists with managing internal and external job postings. Assists with required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters. Ensures effective receipt of and/or proper approvals on forms. Assists with payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, and wage adjustments, and maintains supporting documentation with HRIS system. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and anything culture related. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Provides clerical and administrative support to the admin department. Performs other duties as assigned. Competencies Detail-Oriented Integrity Adaptability Dependability Time Management Required Education and Experience 2-3 years of HR, administrative, or related experience. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential information. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be 21 years of age or older. Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry. Preferred Education and Experience Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Competent with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications.
