Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2080 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Summit Healthcare Association.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be strong in neuro and cardiac skills.

Unit Details:
Heavy telemetry; all beds have telemetry capability.
Adult and pediatric patients; travelers do not take pediatric assignments, which are assigned to permanent staff.
Uses Sunrise Allscripts.
Support staff includes tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs.
Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds; also based on level of acuity.
Nurse managers do not provide patient care, but they do rounds.
Hospitalist in house 24/7.
No IV team. xhyhwjd
Respiratory therapist available 24/7.
Pharmacy available 24/7.

Floating Requirements:
Float to all MS units and ICU, taking MS overflow patients.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
