Sales Representative

This position is responsible for developing the business and selling products for Shamrock Foods to hotels, restaurants, resorts and institutional establishments or individuals at sales office or customer's place of business. Essential duties include working with the sales team and proactively identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new and lost business opportunities. The role also involves prospecting and developing profitable new and lost customers using a systematic approach which includes customer potential/stratification. It requires developing and maintaining ongoing working relationships with DSR, DSM, RSM & Customer. The job entails developing and implementing strategic business development sales plans to achieve company goals, consulting with the customer to identify and define business needs, determining solutions, developing ROI proposal presentations for customer review and acceptance, and identifying a DSR to eventually service the customer. Other duties as assigned to meet business needs are also part of the role.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university preferred, five or more years of foodservice distribution/sales or related field, five or more years of management experience of people and processes, a current driver's license and auto insurance required with an expectation of 75% field and 25% office. The candidate must be able to use a laptop, calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and understand economic drivers and how to apply these to a customer's situation. The role requires flexibility and willingness to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary of $85,000 to $100,000 with annual bonus potential depending on competency, experience, qualifications, and skills. Shamrock anticipates closing the application window for this job opportunity on or before December 31, 2026.
