About the Position

This role performs a wide range of duties across servicing, quoting and submission for both existing and prospective clients. Using your communication skills and work ethic, you will apply critical thinking skills, work independently and anticipate clients needs questions. This role is a hybrid role for an insurance professional that excels in customer service and inbound sales, with no sales requirements or cold calling. You will be handeling only inbound referrals, and working with exisiting clients.

When you join us, we expect you to handle the following duties:

• Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and inbound referrals.
• Process and submit new and existing clients for marketing and placement, review and summarize quotes for competitiveness and accuracy for personal lines and small commercial accounts.
• Manage, submit, and follow-up with claims throughout the claims process.
• Assist in servicing existing book of business by processing changes, answering billing questions, etc.
• Document all client interactions using management system to organized notes, documents, and followup tasks.

What you’ll bring to our team:

• Active NY Property and Casualty license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills and aptitude for learning new technology
• Positive attitude, good listening skills and empathy
• Highly-organized and strong time management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
