We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West.We are in search of a Relationship Manager I or Relationship Manager II to join our Montana Lending and Insurance department in Billings. This full-time position reports to the SVP, Lending and is accountable for ensuring timely correction and collection of adversely classified loan portfolio through timely service, and proactive management.Compensation InformationThe base salary range for this position in Billings, Montana is:Level I: Typical starting range: $66,200 - $88,700 Full base salary range: $66,200 - $99,900 Annual performance-based incentive target is 12% of base.Level II: Typical starting range: $72,600 - $99,900 Full base salary range: $72,600 - $125,200 Annual performance-based incentive target is 15% of base.*Relocation assistance will be provided to eligible candidates who must relocate to accept this position.Essential DutiesParticipate in internal workgroups assuring annual analysis and confirmation of appropriate credit classification is completed.Maintain effective relationship management including analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial information and meeting with and negotiating terms and conditions with assigned accounts, which may include attending meetings with legal counsel and customer meetings as assigned.Classify loans and loan data attributes including recommended charge-offs/reserves, cash income accounting and allowances on assigned loans, report portfolio quality, statistics, and loan activity to supervisor.Collaborate with the Lending and Insurance Group by participating in large OAEM servicing/shadowing to assure sound risk management and guidance for high risk credit relationships with an above average potential of downgrade to an adversely classified loan classification.Establish valuations of real estate, personal property and other collateral.Develop and demonstrate a sound understanding of loan pricing programs, models and tools.Gather financial information and assist in credit investigations, public record searches, employment/income verifications, and customer visits.Handle customer information with a high degree of confidentiality, follow appropriate information security protocols and ensure media inquiries and requests are referred to appropriate staff.Participate in loan closings by ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed and understood by the customer.Represent and communicate the values, purpose, and mission of the organization to employees, customers, the public, and other target audiences.Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.Other duties as assigned.Travel RequirementsAgWest employees may occasionally be asked to travel for all-staff or team meetings not included in the standard travel requirements for the role.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBasic understanding of financial statements and analysisAbility to effectively communicate and negotiate terms on behalf of the organization for low complexity and smaller size relationships, both verbally and in writingAbility to travel to perform certain required dutiesValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of production agricultureAbility to perform cash flow projections and trend analysis interpretationWorkplace FlexibilityAfter an initial in-office training period, this position is eligible for workplace flexibility and a one-time home office stipend.This position is eligible for coordinated hybrid flexibility.Benefits Offered by AgWestMedical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic term life and AD&D insurance (fully paid for by the company)Paid days off annually: 15 vacation*, 15 sick, 12 holidays and 3 volunteer401(k) plan (6% match plus 3% employer contribution)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramJeans are welcome at work every day at AgWest!*Vacation accrual rates increase with tenure.
