Schedule: Inpatient volume of 15-25 patients daily; surgical caseload includes 5-8 CABG procedures per week and 4-6 robotic thoracic/chest cases

Highlights:

• Work within an Advanced Heart Failure specialty department with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
• Dedicated support staff including 1 office PA and 2 registered nurses
• Diverse surgical case mix: CABG, robotic thoracic cases, open and TAVR valve procedures, occasional LVAD and Impella placements
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
• Adult patient population in a dynamic cardiovascular surgical environment
• Privileging timeframe: 60-90 days

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active North Carolina state license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required
• First assist experience required
• Vaccines mandatory per facility policy
