Controllership Manager

As a Controllership Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the controllership function. You will ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations, and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Corporate Accounting, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, support business decision-making through financial analysis, and lead a team of controllership professionals to drive process improvements and efficiency.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate controllership functionEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulationsLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesReview and analyze financial statements and reportsProvide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-makingManage and develop a team of controllership professionalsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencyYOU MUST HAVE4+ years of experience in accounting or controllership rolesStrong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExperience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools, enabling efficient financial close and reporting processesStrong analytical skills to provide insightful financial analysis and support business decision-makingHoneywell Technologies is a global, pure-play automation company with a legacy of innovating to help solve the world’s most mission-critical challenges, enhancing the quality of life for people and communities around the world.
