We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant with 2–4 years of public accounting experience who is looking to expand their technical skills and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for:
• • Individuals
  • Partnerships
  • S Corporations
  • C Corporations
  • Trusts and Estates
• Prepare workpapers and tax projections.
• Perform bookkeeping and write-up services for business clients.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with compilations, reviews, and audits.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve questions.
• Assist with tax planning and year-end accounting projects.
• Work closely with senior accountants and partners on a variety of engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of recent public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and compilations, reviews, or audits is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• CPA license or CPA-track candidate is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, QuickBooks, CCH Engagement is a plus.
