Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Job Description & Requirements Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Start Date: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 10 Pay Rate: $82.45 - $89.25 Details and Requirements Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 10 hour shifts (10:45am-9:15pm). Flexibility preferred but the schedule will primarily include Tuesday and Wednesday weekly and every other weekend, with other shifts arranged around those days. Patients per day: Three patients per hour – estimated 24 patients per 10‑hour shift. Practice setting: Urgent Care. Scope of Practice Urgent Care and "Same Day" visits for episodic one‑off issues, along with fractures, suturing, X‑rays, and toenail removal. Comfortable with higher acuity cases as needed. Emergency Room experience is a plus; must be experienced in higher acuity settings. Experience with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients (birth to death). Qualifications Active California license required. Credentialing timeframe: 60+ days. Benefits Medical or dental malpractice insurance arranged by AMN Healthcare for contractor providers.
