It provides a predictable shift and predictable workload. We have an opening for a Full Time Line Cook in a college cafe in the Mission Viejo area . Shift to convey as follows: Monday - Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m . This position is anticipated to start August 2026 . Requirements Must hold a California Food Handlers card. If expired, must renew. Must have a minimum of 12 consecutive months of employment in a kitchen; must have experience with food prep and knife skills...black top grill a plus! Job duties include: Food prep/cooking Menu options-pastas, pizzas, Mexican food, Chinese food, breakfast grill, lunch grill and grab n’ go meals Setting up, take down of stations, cleaning stations, dishes, sweeping of kitchen and mopping of kitchen area Putting deliveries away in designated area Able to assist customers with meal orders at each station Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area. The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills. The qualified candidate should demonstrate a positive, encouraging and teamwork attitude. The qualified candidate must maintain a professional appearance.
